The Atlantic Chemistry Convention, or ChemCon for short, is a student-led event serving Atlantic Canada and beyond, with a focus on showcasing student achievement and demonstrating opportunities for aspiring chemists. The convention comprises several events such as keynote speakers, an undergraduate poster session, and workshops.
This year ChemCon 2023 focuses on diversity in Chemistry. Our mission is to uplift the voices and experiences of underrepresented groups and showcase students and educators that are working toward creating a more accessible future. Having a diverse, equitable and inclusive scientific community ensures that people of all backgrounds can participate in science and contribute their unique experiences and perspective. The future of scientific innovation is fostered through equity, diversity, and inclusion.
