RAC 2021 Launches September 23, 2020

September 17, 2020

On September 23, 2020, the Compute Canada Federation will launch our annual Resource Allocation Competitions (RAC), a peer-reviewed process to grant priority access to compute, storage and cloud resources beyond what can be obtained via the Rapid Access Service

Two competitions — the Resources for Research Groups (RRG) and the Research Platforms and Portals (RPP) — are open to Canadian research projects from all disciplines.

Competitions close November 5, 2020.

Important: The program to support special requests for ARC resources needed for COVID-19 research will end on March 31, 2021. If you have received one of these allocations and you expect that your need for resources will continue after April 2021, you must submit an application to the 2021 Resource Allocation Competitions.
