Chief Executive Officer, ACENET

ACENET is seeking a new CEO to replace the incumbent, who is leaving in November. As the CEO of ACENET, you have appropriate academic credentials and senior-level experience in business, information technology, the public sector, or academia. Most important, you have a strong appreciation of post-secondary research and understand how IT supports and facilitates the advancement of this research. To be considered, you must have a unique mix of skills including the ability to provide long-term strategic thinking and the management and organizational skills to implement this vision. Your range of skills includes human resources, financial management, communications, service delivery, and risk management. You are skillful in building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships with numerous stakeholders and funding agencies. Lastly, you have proven experience working with a Board of Directors and bring a complete understanding of governance.

Staff of ACENET work at the various member universities across Atlantic Canada.  The CEO position can be based at any of those universities, which means that you will have to manage staff remotely and some travel will be required.

The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Senior Management Team of four executives.
