Computational Research Consultant – New Brunswick

This position is responsible for providing advanced computing/high performance computing expertise primarily to New Brunswick clients within post-secondary institutions, as well as supporting the larger ACENET and Compute Canada user base regionally and nationally respectively. Working as part of a distributed team, the Research Consultant serves a broad community of researchers across a wide range of disciplines. Applicants must have a post-graduate doctoral degree from a recognized university, education/training in advanced research computing and five years of relevant experience with significant programming skills. This position is in WestGrid. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Junior Platforms Developer is responsible for software and service development projects associated with scientific gateways for researchers within western Canada. Research Computing Training Assistant

This position is in WestGrid. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Research Computing Training Assistant is responsible for supporting and delivering research computing training sessions across all WestGrid Member institutions online, in-person, or over multiple days.
