ACENET’s mission is to accelerate discovery and innovation in Atlantic Canada by providing advanced computing resources, expertise and training to researchers and industry.

ACENET is a virtual organization, with its 17 staff located at institutions across Atlantic Canada. Computational Research Consultant – St. John’s

Based at Memorial University’s St. John’s campus, this is a user support position, reporting to ACENET’s Chief Operating/Chief Technology Officer, which requires a motivated self-starter and relationship-builder who will be responsible for supporting the ACENET research community at Memorial University with duties extending throughout Atlantic Canada and nationally. Working as a part of a distributed team serving a broad community of researchers across a wide range of disciplines, the successful candidate will assist academic researchers and industry clients in using and navigating the advanced computing resources available at ACENET and Compute Canada. Closing date to apply is 18 April, 2019.
