Training Information.
ACENET’s approach to training is grounded in meeting learners where they are and continually improving how we teach. We focus on accessibility, creating a supportive learning environment, and building confidence in technical skills through practical, evidence-informed approaches.
Our training is welcoming and inclusive, helping you feel comfortable engaging with new material and asking questions. By building trust early, you’re better able to progress to more advanced topics. We support all skill levels and encourage a growth mindset when tackling something new or challenging.
A key feature of our training is its hands-on, interactive approach. You learn by working through examples and exercises alongside instructors. This offers opportunities for practice and immediate feedback, helping build skills and confidence in real time. Helpers support our instructors during classes by troubleshooting technical problems and addressing questions.
We continuously improve our training based on feedback from participants and instructors, as well as ongoing professional development within our team. Our courses are structured around clear learning objectives, with frequent exercises, relevant examples, and opportunities for discussion to support understanding and critical thinking. We prioritize accessible language and practical applications, ensuring training is relevant to real-world research and work environments.
At its core ACENET training is experiential — learning by doing — so you can confidently apply new skills beyond the classroom.
