- Data Cave
- The Data Cave is a virtual reality environment that allows researchers to explore their data in 3D at Saint Mary's University. Datasets are projected on three 6'x6' screens and on the floor while the user wears head-tracking 3D glasses and navigates through the immersive environment with a hand-held remote. Researchers interested in using the Data Cave should contact Florence Woolaver. More information on the Data Cave here.
- Visualization Workstations
- Also at Saint Mary's University, ACEnet maintains a la of visualization workstations. These workstations can be used in the preparation of models for the Data Cave, or for any work requiring high-end graphic cards. These graphic cards can also be accessed through Mahone for GPGPU computations. Users interested in GPGPU on Mahone are encouraged to contact support.
