Unix Systems Administrator
We're interested in people with experience in the system administration of unix systems, especially in high performance computing.
Skills of interest include:
- familiarity with HPC architectures and interconnects
- Solaris 10, Redhat operating system administration
- LDAP authentication
- shell scripting, PERL, AWK, SED, etc.
- queuing/scheduling system design (especially SGE)
- C/C++, Fortran programming languages
- grid technologies (Condor, Globus, etc.)
- large file system management and backup, parallel and high performance file systems
- networking and security
- collaborative technologies (IOCOM, AccessGrid, H.323, etc.)
Computational Research Consultant
We're interested in candidates with a graduate degree in a scientific discipline and several years of work experience in computational science.
Skills of interest include:
- excellent communication/time management/planning skills
- strong client focused work ethic
- understanding of HPC architectures and technologies
- broad knowledge parallel computing, especially parallel APIs (MPI and OpenMP) and threading
- strong C/C++ and Fortran programming skills
- scientific visualization experience
- queuing/scheduling systems experience (especially SGE)
- shell scripting, PERL, AWK, SED, etc.
- an understanding of the academic research environment
