Unix Systems Administrator

We're interested in people with experience in the system administration of unix systems, especially in high performance computing.

Skills of interest include:

• familiarity with HPC architectures and interconnects
• Solaris 10, Redhat operating system administration
• LDAP authentication
• shell scripting, PERL, AWK, SED, etc.
• queuing/scheduling system design (especially SGE)
• C/C++, Fortran programming languages
• grid technologies (Condor, Globus, etc.)
• large file system management and backup, parallel and high performance file systems
• networking and security
• collaborative technologies (IOCOM, AccessGrid, H.323, etc.)

Computational Research Consultant

We're interested in candidates with a graduate degree in a scientific discipline and several years of work experience in computational science.

Skills of interest include:

• excellent communication/time management/planning skills
• strong client focused work ethic
• understanding of HPC architectures and technologies
• broad knowledge parallel computing, especially parallel APIs (MPI and OpenMP) and threading
• strong C/C++ and Fortran programming skills
• scientific visualization experience
• queuing/scheduling systems experience (especially SGE)
• shell scripting, PERL, AWK, SED, etc.
• an understanding of the academic research environment
