Using Compute Canada: How to Submit Jobs & Move Data on a Supercomputer
This session will provide step-by-step demonstrations for getting started with using Compute Canada high performance computing (HPC) facilities. This introductory-level talk will include hands-on demonstrations of how to log in, submit jobs, move data, and troubleshoot problems. This session is targeted at faculty members and students in any discipline who either have a Compute Canada account or who are interested in acquiring a Compute Canada account, as well as anyone interested in using Compute Canada but who does not yet have an account (a guest account can be created for you for use during this session). Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting (or similar experience) is required.
